Peruvian cuisine in the heart of Buenos Aires: Pozo Santo restaurant
The restaurant is headed by an experienced Peruvian chef, Rafo Rivera. Apart from its unique location, Pozo Santo’s
exotic décor has given the restaurant the certain magic touch that can help define a restaurant’s appeal.
From walking through the restaurant doors, the visitor is transported to an 18th century monastery in colonial Peru, complete with silverware, classic cherubs and ancient tapestries. The décor provides the perfect ambiance to enjoy the increasingly world-renowned Peruvian cuisine, complemented by a list of equally sophisticated Argentinean wines.
Supplied by a constant stream of imported Peruvian ingredients, the menu at Pozo Santo allows patrons a taste the unique cultural fusion that is at the heart of Peruvian cuisine, as prepared by some of the country’s finest chefs.
The menu is packed with unaltered Peruvian recipes, drawn from right across the country’s food landscape, including the original fried rice & beans dish of tacu tacu and the inspired beef stir fry, lomo saltado.
In keeping with the Peruvian theme, the restaurant offers a fine selection of Peru’s national beverage, Pisco
To finish off the experience, Pozo Santo boasts a smoking terrace from which to enjoy a fine cigar before heading out and continuing the night in true BA style.
