Well, as you can see, we are back home, after the most wonderful holiday - all due to your efficiency, helpfulness and friendliness! Thank you for making our holiday such a success.

Hi Spencer,
I was just about to sit down and tell you about the wonderful time I had on my trip. Everything was a delight and better than I expected, well maybe not the horseback riding as I am more accustomed to riding on elephant necks than on horses. But I survived and enjoyed my ride.
The Rio Mutum Lodge was perfect. The staff was friendly and professional. I was expecting something a little more rustic, yet Mutum was worth its stars even though ecological, rural, and not flashy. No night clubbing on the premises, but guests and staff could make what they wanted of the evenings. Three lovely meals a day and an afternoon snack. As a single lady traveler, I was very pleased that the guide was available to sit with the visitors during meals. If you didn't want the guide, he would sit elsewhere. Otherwise the guide was available to answer questions and share experiences. Rio Mutum Lodge did everything right. There were lots to see and do, but I never felt rushed or treated as anything but a unique traveler. Excursions were scheduled, but my guide was willing to accommodate my schedule and interests. They had a definite commitment to being ecologically friendly.
My guide Flavio was fabulous. He could point out tapir tracks, identify birds, call the monkeys, and feed you indigenous foods concurrently. With Flavio, we saw more animals and birds and were more successful at piranha fishing than the other groups. However, Flavio is expecting a baby very shortly, so if he isn't available ask for his Aunt Judy who says she taught him everything he knows. They both speak English, Portuguese and their tribal language.
Supposedly this is not the best time to see the Pantanal as it is between wet and dry seasons, but it was perfect for me. I could see how the place would look in the wet season as there was plenty of water still around and I could see how it would look in the dry season as the water was receding. Supposedly it is easier to spot animals in the high seasons, but Flavio was excellent and we saw so much. I went during the full moon so there wasn't much success spotting jaguars and tapirs at night. But I was very impressed with how much I did see.
Some of the other guests had just come from the Amazon and they remarked they saw more animals in a few days in the Pantanal than in the Amazon. Wonderful adventure.

Dear Brazil For Less,
Our trip to Brazil and Argentina was amazing! Hands down Rio is one of the most beautiful cities we've ever visited! Our wonderful tour guide (who by the way spoke 4 languages!) took us all over the city, including to the most scenic views of the city at Christ the Redeemer, Sugar Loaf Mountain and the lovely beaches of Copacabana and Ipanema. We didn't think it would be possible to see something more beautiful and then we reached Iguasu Falls. There are falls, rainbows, wildlife and greenery everywhere! Absolutely breathtaking. Finally, our trip ended in Buenos Aires where again we were welcomed by a very friendly and knowledgeable tour guide. Buenos Aires is a unique city with amazing history, culture and architecture. We highly recommend the tango show, great entertainment, food and drink!
Thanks so much to Brazil For Less and especially to Riva for making our trip to South America so special!

Riva,
Our plans for our trip to South America were very ambitious and there was very little time to organize the itinerary, but you made it all happen! We were pleased to have had such an enjoyable and memorable time, particularly in Peru.
Our guides were friendly and knowledgeable, and we really enjoyed the flexibility of our private tours. Equally pleasant, and very caring, were our agency representatives and transfer people. One of our memorable moments was when the two of us were met at the Aguas Calientes train station by a welcoming party of four, including the bellboy from the hotel! The hotel rooms were all clean and comfortable, and the hotels were well located.
Thank you so much for pulling this trip together for us at virtually the last minute. I really appreciated your professionalism and attentiveness to our needs. I would definitely recommend Peru For Less/Latin America For Less for travel to South America.

Dear Matt,
Here is my report of the glorious trip you had planned for my party and me in South America. I have to admit that, before the trip began, I had experienced some apprehension, wondering if everything planned would be carried out as promised or... would we encounter one difficulty after another? I wasn't very certain so I could not assure my friends that things would be all right! Now that I'm back, I can say for sure that one can definitely depend on Latin America For Less!
Your itinerary specially tailored for us did really work like clockwork from the moment we met our first tour representative in Rio de Janeiro all the way to our last destination before we flew to Sao Paulo from Lima! Thank you so much for offering us such professional advice and service! Everyone involved was friendly, punctual and efficient. The moment we exited at an airport, there was always someone waiting to greet us and bring us to our hotel. When it came to the time for us to leave a place for the airport, the same service was given. We were never left stranded, wondering who would meet us, as your representatives were always there before us! Truly, I am so glad I sought your advice before making my trip to South America!
The hotels you had booked for us were also good! ome were quaint and homely while others were more modern. Whatever kind of hotel we were in, there was always a nice, clean bed to sleep in and a TV to catch up with the latest news. However, though it is no fault of yours, I have learnt from hindsight that I should have requested for ground floor rooms in hotels where there are neither lift nor porters to carry our luggage up. Sometimes, we had to struggle to climb up the stairs with our luggage in order to get to our rooms. Thankfully, those hotels did not have too many floors so we did not have to climb so high. Still, it was tiring for some members in my party.
Another incident I would like to make mention is the one that you had earlier written to Dick (Nee Khuen) about the lost camera. From Caitlin's letter, I would presume that you had followed up on this and enquiries had been made with PeruRail regarding its retrieval. Thank you so much for doing your part in helping us locating the camera. It was indeed a big blow to Dick and Nah Nee to have lost it. Imagine all the beautiful and precious photos they have taken going into 'thin air' at the end of their trip. That could have 'marred' their otherwise wonderful trip to some extent.
Among all the great sights we had covered, I must say that the Perito Moreno Glacier was most outstanding. We had the opportunity to come pretty close to that huge river of ice thanks to the ride in the catamaran that was included in our tour. I have attached two photos of our memorable tour and you can see for yourself the wonderful places we had visited which made all that travel to South America worthwhile.
Once again, it has been my privilege and pleasure to have corresponded with you on the planning of this 'once in a lifetime' trip and I am most grateful for all the help and advice you have given to all our queries. I will strongly recommend you and your team at Latin America For Less to all my friends who wish to embark on such a trip in the future. In fact, ever since my return, my sister (she was the one who had told me to write to Latin America For Less after she had accidentally discovered your website while surfing the net), has been receiving feedback from me as she intends to make a similar trip to Argentina with her friends, sometime in the future. Furthermore, Nah Nee's brother will be visiting South America in a few month's time and I am sure he will be seeking advice from Nah Nee regarding the planning of his trip. We intend to recommend you and your company, so be on the lookout for more Singaporeans writing to you for travel advice and making you their Trip Advisor!!
Here's wishing you all the best for the future...

Hi Silvana,
Everything went by the book. It was really beautifully organized and we had wonderful guides in Iguazu and Rio as well. I couldn't ask for more. The only harder thing was that in Rio, we had a van that was pretty high to get in and out, the regular car would have been better, but that?s minor. Of course on our next trip we will think about your company to book again. Thank you for all the help and it was great working with you

Iguazu Falls & Rio de Janeiro
Hi Riva,
We just returned from our South America trip yesterday. The pre-trip you planned before our cruise was wonderful. The Iguazu Falls are breath taking and it certainly was a good idea on your part to have us view then from the Brazil side and the Argentina side. The boat ride was definitely a thriller and you soon learned how powerful the falls really are - and how wet! I looked like I had gone through a car wash when we were finished. It was a lot of fun and quite refreshing on such a hot day.
The hotel you selected for us was perfect as was our guide. She was well informed, made us feel welcome, and was always on time. Thanks for attending to all the details and for making our first impression of Brazil a warm and lasting one.
Cheers,
Jean

Hi Staci,
Overall we had a blast! Thank you so much for organizing this trip for us. We could not have done it without you.
Here are a few notes from each stop: Rio de Janeiro: the hotel was very good! It had a nice location and friendly staff. Our tour guide, Marta, was very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. Something "not to do": we took a Jeep Tour into the forest park inside Rio. It was advertized as a rainforest but it is not. The other thing ?not to do?: schedule the visit to Rio on the same day as President Obama!
Iguazu Falls: everything was marvelous. Our tour guide Martin was very knowledgeable and offered to take us to the Bird Park. This is a place to visit!
Buenos Aires: our tour guide Veronica did an outstanding job in showing us the city and explaining the history. We would highly recommend her services!
Santiago & Valparaiso: we had great time there. The hotel and staff were very nice and accommodating.
Looking forward to more trips! We will definitely use your services in future and recommend to our friends.

Dear Rylee,
We enjoyed our trip and our arrangements went without a hitch. Your staff in Cusco was especially helpful monitoring our flight schedule and noting a last minute change which was well communicated to us. Changes in our trip to Machu Picchu included a special trip to our hotel. All of the guides and drivers did an excellent job. The hotel in Cusco was very nice and your staff also made some excellent recommendations for lunch and dinner.
he hotel in Buenos Aires was also fine, the tango show and the tour guides were good. The hotels in the other locations were also very good and the tour guides in all of the locations were exceptional. Those who met us at the airport were timely and helpful. Our tour guide to Valparaiso, Jose, deserves special mention.
We will certainly recommend Peru For Less to our friends

Hi Staci,
ur trip to Brazil was fantastic and we had a great time. We had the opportunity to visit Christ the Redeemer and the Sugar Loaf Mountain while in Rio, and enjoyed the beautiful beaches in Buzios. The Iguazu Falls were incredible. The falls with the lush jungle around it was a terrific experience. We visited both the Brazil and Argentina falls and really feel that you need to experience both sides to get the true feel for the falls. I want to say we were well taken care of and it was so nice to have our transfers and tours pre-arranged.
We had transportation arrive to pick us up when it was supposed to be and it was very helpful that our guides spoke English; this was very beneficial to us. It was so nice that we did not have to worry about transportation or language issues. We really enjoyed having a private tour of Rio and the Falls. This allowed our guides to tailor the experience more to our desires and let us feel more comfortable asking questions about the locations. We did have one problem in Buzios when our Catamaran had mechanical problems and we had to go on a Schooner boat ride.
With that disappointment all other aspects of the trip went astonishing well and I appreciate all of the help and all the questions you answered prior to our trip. It was great that you put this trip together for us. We hope you can help with our next trip to Galapagos Islands because overall the help your provided was terrific.
