  • Overnight in Quito.

  • Rise and shine for a full-day of sightseeing through Ecuador’s capital city.
  • Begin your morning with a guided tour of Quito. Visit the historic center, Independence Square, and gold-plated La Compania Church, among many attractions.
  • Around noon, depart for the equator line to see the “Middle of the World” monument. Then learn about the historical and modern science behind determining the location of the equator at the Intiñan Solar Museum.
  • Overnight in Quito.

  • Wake up in Quito and take a morning flight to Cuenca, a charming town famed for its red tiled roofs, cobblestone streets, and numerous museums.
  • Spend the rest of the day at your leisure.
  • Overnight in Cuenca.

  • Discover the beauty and charm of Cuenca, a city recognized as a World Heritage Site, on a private tour. Your guide will take you to explore the colonial downtown, religious monuments, vibrant parks, and handicraft shops and tell you all about its rich history.
  • Enjoy free time in the afternoon. Overnight in Cuenca.

  • From Cuenca, depart on a tour to Cajas National Park about 18 mi (30 km) from the city. There are a wide range of activites to do. You can choose between hiking, fishing, bird-watching, viewing the rich and colorful flora and fauna, and more. You may also visit the Interpretation Center close to La Toreadora Lake – the largest lake of the park – where pictures and presentations of the reservation are displayed.
  • Private transfer from Cajas National Park to Guayaquil. You will be dropped off at your hotel.
  • Relax for the rest of the evening. The bustling port city of Guayaquil is the largest city in Ecuador. Its riverfront has been turned into an attractive promenade known as Malecon 2000, where visitors and locals alike can enjoy the fresh river breeze and sweeping views.
  • Overnight in Guayaquil.

  • A transfer will take you to the Guayaquil airport for your morning flight to the Galapagos.
  • Upon arrival, our representative will greet you and accompany you for the transfer to the nearby dock. Get ready for your 5-day cruise!
  • The exact cruise itinerary will depend on your confirmed ship. Check out our preferred Galapagos Cruises. Every day you’ll wake up at an exciting new place in the archipelago to explore with your naturalist guide. You may also be able to enjoy water activities, such as snorkeling and kayaking.
  • Overnight on cruise. Meals on the ship included.

  • Wake up in the comfort of your cabin and get ready for your first full day of Galapagos exploration.
  • Daily activites range from nature walks and animal sightings to snorkeling.
  • Morning excursions usually begin early when animals are most active and before the sun gets too hot. Return to the ship for lunch and some downtime before setting off on another afternoon excursion. Following dinner, you may also enjoy informative presentations about the wildlife and unique habitats found on the islands, as well as a briefing about the next day’s adventures.
  • Overnight on cruise ship. Meals included.

  • One of the best ways to truely appreciate the wildlife diversity is by visiting multiple islands. The national park covers 97 percent of all land area in the Galapagos. Many of the sites are very remote and can only be reached by cruising through the archipelago.
  • Overnight on cruise ship. Meals included.

  • While the wide variety of wildlife is impressive, the island landscapes are another unique attraction. There are towering volcanoes, lava fields, forests of very large cacti, and white sand beaches, etc.
  • Overnight on cruise ship. Meals included.
